Creating a foundation for future learning

Like many parents today, we at Prodigy Learning Center recognize the short and long-term advantages of bilingual education for young children growing in diverse communities. We proudly incorporate dual-language learning in Spanish into our comprehensive curriculum to provide children with a foundation for future immersion in Spanish language programs. Dedicated teaching staff at PLC implement various language resource materials and tools into their daily instruction, introducing each child to the basic principles and nuances of the Spanish language. In doing so, PLC offers children preliminary exposure to a secondary language they may wish to build upon in their future educational pursuits.

We go beyond traditional daycare curriculum

Our progressive approach to learning and focus on educational development allow us to offer unique instruction and teaching methods which not only align with and exceed the Texas Ready School Curriculum, but provide children with additional knowledge and skills beneficial for future education. By introducing children to the Spanish language, PLC seeks to prepare them for immersion into a secondary language program while fostering important language and literacy skills.

The right tools for success

PLC's dedicated teaching staff utilize the carefully developed and expertly refined tools and materials with their Spanish curriculum to introduce children to the basics of Spanish, preparing them for future immersion into secondary language programs. The program offers many opportunities for students to improve their oral language skills and vocabulary by participating in social interactions that help foster their exposure to a foreign language.

ENgage children in FUN

Teachers at Prodigy Learning Center will engage children in fun, interactive and purposeful learning activities. The teachers will be using strategies which encourage better development and comprehension of important skills such as language and literacy; a perfect compliment to our dual-language curriculum. Ultimately, PLC helps children nurture their familiarity with a secondary language with these innovative teaching tools.
