Mrs. Adriana - Director

My name is Adriana and I am the Director for Prodigy Learning Center.

I absolutely love working with children of all ages. My experience began when I started attending Mayville State University where I studied child development.

I’m married and have been blessed with two boys, whom I enjoy spending time with when I’m not in the classroom.

I look forward to being a part of the PLC team for many years to come.

Ms. Alicia - Assistant director

Hi! I’m Ms. Alicia and I am the Assistant Director at Prodigy Learning Center. I have been working with children of all ages for over ten years. I discovered my passion for teaching and caring for children when I was a teenager and have loved it ever since!

PLC has always felt like a second home to me and I am so grateful for the connections I’ve been able to make while being here.

I have two boys and a baby girl- they make everyday feel like a blessing. On the weekends, I love spending time with my family and watching my boys play soccer!

Ms. DALShona - Site manager, PLC 1

Hi, my name is Dalshona, I go by Ms. Shona for short. I am a supervisor here at Prodigy Learning Center. I have been blessed with two children, a handsome boy and beautiful girl whom I enjoy spending time with when I’m not in the classroom.

I have been working with children of all ages for about 9 years. I discovered my love for caring and teaching children at a young age and I just enjoyed it ever since!

I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to further my career with Prodigy Learning Center.

 

Ms. Cathy - Site Manager, PLC2

Hello! My name is Ms. Cathy, and I am the Site Manager for PLC2.
I am a proud mom of two beautiful children—my daughter Evica and my son Nico. I love baking sugar cookies, and in my free time, you can usually find me spending quality time with my children.

I have always enjoyed working with children, which inspired me to pursue a career in childcare. I’ve been in the field for 14 years and counting.

At Prodigy, we take pride in being loving, patient, and supportive of all families and staff. To me, childcare isn’t just a job—it’s a calling to inspire, nurture, and help children grow.

 

Mrs. sHAQueTTA - Site Manager, PLC 4

Hello my name is Ms. ShaQuetta, I am Site Manager at PLC 4, I also go by Ms. Que for short.

I have always had an passion with working with children. I started my journey out in the Rainbow Room with the ages 18 to 24 months old. I’ve been in childcare for over 12 years working with all ages.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my son and spouse, traveling, playing games, having family time, and crafting.


 

Ms. MariA - Supervisor, PLC 1

Hello! My name is Maria, and I am the Infant Supervisor at Prodigy Learning Center.

I have two amazing children—a beautiful daughter and a handsome son—who bring so much joy to my life! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy making memories with my family. I have been in childcare for several years and am passionate about nurturing young children in a safe, loving, and inclusive environment.

My favorite animal is elephants, my favorite color is blue, and I especially enjoy family vacations. I am committed to ensuring that every child and family feels respected, valued, and welcomed. Building strong, loving connections with children and families is at the heart of everything I do.

 

mS. rENEE - Supervisor, PLC2

Hi! My name is Ms. Renee, and I am the Supervisor at PLC2. I’m a proud mom of three amazing kids, ages 13, 11, and 3, and a pet mom to a fun crew including 2 dogs, 4 horses, 2 cats, a potbelly pig, and a sulcata tortoise! I love to travel and am passionate about Jesus, fitness, and nutrition. I also hold a CrossFit CF-L1 training certificate.

I’ve been working with children in some capacity for the past 13 years, from infants to teenagers, at various churches and in my own home. I’ve been part of the Prodigy team for a year now, and I’ve absolutely loved every moment—starting as a teacher and now serving as a supervisor. The heart of Prodigy is the children, and I love being part of that mission!

Hello! My name is Ms. Kerstin, and I am a Supervisor at PLC3. I have been working in childcare for nine years, and every moment has deepened my love for helping young learners grow and discover the world around them.

I am currently pursuing my degree in Elementary Education with the goal of becoming a Kindergarten teacher. Teaching and nurturing children during their earliest years brings me so much joy, and I believe every child has limitless potential when given love, support, and encouragement.

Ms. Samantha - Supervisor, plc 4

Hi! My name is Ms. Samantha and I am the Supervisor at PLC4. I am from the Houston area but moved here with my husband and our dog!

I have been in childcare since September of 2017 and at Prodigy since January 2022. I grew up babysitting family members which initially sparked my love for working with children.

I love working at PLC and seeing the love and passion on all of our teachers and students faces.

Mrs. Crystal - Teacher, 6 Weeks - 6 Month olds

Hello! My name is Ms. Crystal and I am a lead teacher in the Clubhouse classroom. I enjoy being an infant teacher because it’s so fun to watch them grow throughout the years.

Each year working for Prodigy Learning Center has expanded my skill set as it relates to working with children. I learn something new everyday. My most important focus has been to listen to parents and children with the ability to understand their needs and not just to hear them. This has allowed me to develop a trusting bond with parents who now feel comfortable with the way I teach and support their childen.

I have been with PLC for 5 years now, but have been in childcare for over 17 years now working with children of all ages. I realized at an early age my passion and love for children.

Ms. Alexandria - Teacher, 6 Weeks - 6 Month olds

Hello! I’m Ms. Alex and I am a teacher in the Forest classroom!

Working in the Clubhouse classroom is such a fun experience. I love learning each baby and their cues! I love seeing their smiling faces every morning.

I have been working in childcare since 2016 right after I graduated high school. I love working with children of all ages! My students bring so much joy to my days.

Since working at PLC, I have gained lifelong friends and have made great friendships with different families.

Hello, my name is Ms. Samantha and I am the lead teacher in the Red Fish classroom. I have one daughter that keeps me busy with dance on our free time.

Prior to working here, I wokred at a different daycare for two years. THis is what sparked my love for working with kids.

Ms. Lynette - Teacher, 6-12 month olds

Hi! I’m Ms. Lynette and I am a teacher in the Caterpillar classroom at PLC1.

I have over 25 years of experience in the education field and have worked with children of all ages, from newborn infants to school-age students.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and am just one class away from completing my Master’s degree in Special Education. My passion for childcare and education comes from my belief that learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful.

At PLC, children experience learning through play, exploration, and joyful interactions. I truly believe that teachers who love teaching inspire children to love learning, and I strive to bring that belief into my classroom every day.

 

mS. kASSY - tEACHER, 6-12 mONTH oLDs

Howdy! My name is Kassy, and I am an Infant Teacher at Prodigy Learning Center. I am a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Human Resource Development. I have been working in infant childcare for two years and absolutely love watching little ones learn and grow every day.

A few fun facts about me: I’m bilingual, Harry Potter is my favorite movie series, and I’m a bit of a U.S. history nerd!

My classroom goal is to nurture and prepare infants for their next transition class. My teaching philosophy is to create a safe, loving, and welcoming environment where every child feels cared for and valued.

Hi! I’m Ms. Jadence. I’m currently in school working toward my associate’s degree, and I’ve been part of the PLC family for a little over a year now! I’m a proud dog mom, I love spending time with my family, and my favorite color is pink.

My goal is to create a classroom filled with love, patience, and gentle care—where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Ms. Edith - Teacher, 12-18 Month Olds

¡Hola! My name is Ms. Edith, and I’m a Lead Tiny Tot Teacher at Prodigy Learning Center. I was born in California and moved to BCS in 2009. I attended Bryan Collegiate, where I had the chance to volunteer in a Pre-K classroom—an experience that sparked my love for early childhood education and set me on this path!

One of my favorite things about PLC is how our management team takes time out of their day to visit and join us in the classroom. It makes our center feel like a true community.

Howdy! I’m Ms. Brissa, a Tiny Tots teacher. In high school, I took a child development course that gave me the opportunity to volunteer in several Pre-K classrooms. That experience truly cemented my dream of working with and educating young children. I love being a part of their learning, growth, and all the little moments in between.

One of my favorite things about PLC is how kind and supportive the staff and families are. It really feels like a community.

Ms. De’Janay - Teacher, 18-24 Month olds

Hello! My name is De’Janay, and I am the lead teacher in the Penguin classroom. I was born and raised in Austin, TX, and moved to College Station in 2017. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to think of myself as a fun-loving and genuine person!

I started working with children at a very young age and have always treated every child as if they were my own. I strive to build strong bonds with my students so they know they can trust me to be themselves.

Working at Prodigy has been a wonderful experience—I love knowing that every student is always well taken care of and never goes without.

 

Ms. Brittany - Teacher, 18-24 Month Olds

Howdy! My name is Ms. Britt. I teach the terrific toddlers at PLC! I recently moved to BCS from New Braunfels. I have two beautiful children—a boy and a girl—who both attend PLC. My husband and I have been happily married for four years, and he works at Texas A&M.

A few fun facts about me: I love to knit, I enjoy hiking, and I believe purple is the best color ever!

My goal in the classroom is to create a positive learning environment where each child can blossom. I believe every child is unique, and all children can learn.

 

Ms. STACI - Teacher, 2 Year olds

Hi! My name is Ms. Staci and I am the lead teacher in the Flamingo classroom. I have two boys of my own, ages 5 and 1. Everyday I like to think of fun and creative ways for the kids to learn. It brings a smile to my face when I see my students take what we learn together and put it to use.

Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to become a teacher. I enjoy seeing all of their personalities and being able to work with the children warms my heart.

Hi! My name is Ms. Amaya, and I am a twos teacher at Prodigy Learning Center. I am currently attending school with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. I began teaching two-year-olds almost three years ago and instantly fell in love with the experience.

From a young age, I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher. Watching my students’ little minds grow and seeing their positive changes fills my heart with happiness. I love giving my students all the encouragement and love they need to shine!

Ms. Gracey - Teacher, 2 Year Olds

Hi! My name is Ms. Gracey, and I am a two's teacher at PLC4. I’m originally from Deep East Texas but moved here to pursue my education. I have always had a passion for helping shape young minds while building meaningful relationships with each child and their family.

I have over five years of experience in childcare, including working as a babysitter, T-ball coach, Sunday school teacher, camp counselor, and daycare teacher. I am also currently working toward my degree in Early Childhood Education.

I have truly enjoyed my time at PLC and love seeing how every teacher and staff member puts the children first. I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and making each day a fun and positive experience for our little learners!

Hi! My name is Mrs. Alyssa, and have been teaching for a grand total of 10 years! My heart and my background is in Special Education, where I’ve taught elementary and high school Life Skills, and middle school Adaptive Behavior.

I started teaching preschool 4 years ago, and fell in love with the GIANT impact you can make on such a young little mind, and that led me to Prodigy. 

When I’m not at work, I’m at home spending time with my husband and our baby girl, Isla.

Hola! My name is Ms. Montse and I am a lead teacher in a three-year-old classroom! I am a future elementary teacher in the making. I am currently attending school and will be transferring to A&M next year.

I’m currently working toward my teaching license, and I already have my Educational Aide Certification, so I’m always learning right alongside my kiddos.

Ms. Valentina - Teacher, 3 Year Olds

Hello families! My name is Ms. Valentina, but most people call me Ms. Val. I’m the lead teacher in our Three-Year-Old Classroom, and I am so excited to get to know your little one this year. My goal is to make our classroom one of their favorite places to learn, play, and grow!

I’ve spent many years working with children as a nanny, babysitter, and teacher, and I’ve been part of several early learning centers—but Prodigy is truly my favorite. I even worked in an office for a while, but my heart has always belonged in early childhood education. That passion just kept calling me back!

One of the things I love most about Prodigy Learning Center is how compassionate, supportive, and understanding our community is. It feels like home.

Hello! My name is Ms. Erin, and I am a three-year-old teacher at PLC. I have been in childcare and teaching for the past 30 years, ever since my daughter was born. Enriching children’s lives—watching them grow, learn, and discover—has truly been my passion.

¡Hola! My name is Ms. Johana, and I am one of PLC’s Pre-K teachers. I am a proud mother of two and have a little over five years of experience in early childhood education. One of my favorite parts of teaching is introducing my students to Spanish — it’s amazing to watch them learn and grow while developing new skills.

What I love most about being a teacher is seeing each child’s unique personality flourish. I am so excited to continue growing and learning with the Prodigy Learning Center team.

Ms. Alondra - Teacher, 4 Year Olds

¡Hola! I'm Ms. Alondra, and I am a Pre-K teacher here at Prodigy Learning Center. In my free time, I like coloring, doing my makeup, and supercars—I love driving!

I’ve always enjoyed being around kids ever since my mom and I would babysit together, and I’m so glad I finally get to work with children every day. This is my very first childcare center, and I’m loving the experience so far. I hope to be here for a long time!

I’ve always known I wanted to do something that involved caring for others—before this, I worked as a caregiver for seniors, and now I’m so happy to be caring for little ones instead. Every sunrise feels like a new beginning, and that’s how I see each day in our classroom.

Ms. Sarheagan - Teacher, Transitional kindergarten

Hi! I am the Lead Teacher for the Transitional Kindergarten class here at PLC. I began my career in early childhood education right here, and it has been such a rewarding journey ever since. My favorite part of each day is seeing my students’ smiling faces as they walk into the classroom, ready to learn and explore.

Math is my favorite subject to teach — I especially enjoy helping my students grasp new concepts like simple addition. It’s incredibly fulfilling to watch them grow in confidence and understanding.

Seeing my students prepare for their next big adventure in kindergarten is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I look forward to watching your children learn, grow, and become the best versions of themselves!

Hello! I’m Ms. Alex and I am a lead TK teacher!

At a young age, my goals were to either be a teacher or a veterinarian. I’m proud to say that I have reached one of my goals! I have always loved caring for and being around children. I am currently in school for Early Childhood Development to further my career in education.

I love being on the PLC team! Being able to teach my students and knowing that I’m a part of helping them learn really warms my heart.

I graduated as an elementary school teacher in Mexico. I love working with children and have worked with children from the ages of 6 months - 12 years old. I can definitely say that it is my passion.

Hello! I’m Ms. Ava, a PLC1 Floater. I’m originally from West Texas and moved to the College Station area to pursue my academic career in Human Resources. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and love discovering new ways to support their growth.

A couple fun facts about me: I love all Disney movies, and I’m the youngest of five siblings! My goal is to create a space where every child feels welcomed, loved, and excited to learn. I want to help them grow, explore, and try new things every day.

My ultimate goal is to help all of our little ones learn, grow, and feel safe in their environment. I want our classroom to be a place where everyone is kind to one another—always.

Hi! I’m Ms. Halo. I love kids more than anything—they bring so much joy and happiness to every day, and I’m grateful to be part of their little world. In my free time, I enjoy playing softball, baking sweet treats, and even doing a bit of cleaning.

My classroom goal is to promote happy behaviors and create a positive, joyful classroom culture. My teaching philosophy centers on building a supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and excited to learn.

Hello, my name is Crys’syia, and I am a Floater at PLC2.
This is my first job in childcare, and I absolutely love it! I was born in Bryan, TX, and I’ve lived here my whole life. I graduated from Rudder High School in May 2025.

A few fun facts about me:

  • I love, love James Avery.

  • I enjoy spending time in my own space.

My goals for the children in the classroom are to help them feel comfortable expressing their feelings appropriately, play cooperatively with others, prepare for future academic success, and build confidence and competence.

 

Ms. Madison - PLC2 FLOATER

Hi! My name is Ms. Madison, but I go by Maddie.
I am 22 years old and have been a nanny for 8 years, along with 3 years of experience in early childhood education.

A few things about me: I enjoy spending time with my horses, I’ve adopted three animals, I’m super outgoing!

I want the children to come to class every day excited to be here, ready to have fun, and eager to learn. My goal is to help create a classroom environment that is joyful, engaging, and welcoming for everyone.
