martha m. - Teacher (4 year olds)

Howdy! My name is Martha and I am a Lead Teacher for the fouryear old classroom. I retired from twenty-seven years of teaching in public schools in order to move closer to my family in the BCS area. My teaching experience includes Head Start, ESL, second grade, fifth grade and twenty-four years teaching first grade. I have three years of experience teaching four year olds.

Teaching children has always been a fascinating adventure. Watching how quickly they learn new information and they question concepts that they need more facts about in order to clarify the things they do not understand.

My degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with minors in Psychology and Math and a Masters in Education Administration.

I am excited to be apart of the Prodigy Learning Center staff. This age group will be lots of fun, as they seem to want as much knowledge as possible. I love this age group and look forward to knowing each child better.

Amber h. -TEACHER (18-24 months)

Hello! My name is Amber and I am the Lead Teacher for the 18 month old classroom at Prodigy Learning Center. I graduated from Montgomery High School in my home town of Montgomery TX. I have two beautiful children Alissa (7) and Jayce (3). They are my rocks and my whole world!

I absolutely love teaching the young minds of this generation. I currently have 4 years of teaching experience. I am working on pursuing a Montessori degree. My main goal is to hopefully open up a school of my own. One of the things that I love about teaching is when a parent comes to you amazed about what their child has learned. The look of excitement on their face and knowing that you have helped this child grow is what warms my heart.

Ariana B. – Teacher (infant room)

Hola and Howdy! My name is Ariana and I am the lead teacher in the 6 months to 1 year old classroom. I was born and raised in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of time spent in daycare. I hope to provide your child with some of those same great memories.

I earned my degree in Business Administration, Marketing from Instituto Tecnologico de Ciudad Juarez in 2012. While studying, I volunteered with OJAS, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping underprivileged orphans in the city of Juarez by providing clothing, books and a safe environment to gather and have fun. In 2014, I married my husband and became a permanent U.S. resident.

Our family moved to College Station in August of 2016. We couldn’t be happier about living here and being apart of the community. I began working for another local daycare where I taught in one of the toddler’s classrooms. I am excited to be part of the amazing team at Prodigy Learning Center, particularly the dual language program and to have the privilege of caring for your children.
