Joanna - teacher (3 year olds)
Hello! My name is Joanna and I am a teacher for the three-year-old classroom at Prodigy Learning Center. I just moved to College Station from Kansas, which is where I grew up. I graduated last May from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
In the past, I have worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Kindergarteners. I believe that every child deserves the best education and caring environment in order to lay the path for a bright future. I love to watch curiosity and discovery take place as a child learns through play!
A fun fact about me is that I have a vision impairment that causes my eyes to look away from what I am actually looking at. So, you might notice that I don’t make direct eye contact or that I use a hand-held magnifier to read small print. No Worries! I make adaptations for myself and it has never been a problem with caring for and teaching children.
I look forward to being a part of Prodigy Learning Center’s team and getting to know the children and families.

I absolutely love teaching the young minds of this generation. I currently have 4 years of teaching experience. I am working on pursuing a Montessori degree.
